“It is tentatively planned that after the implementation of the restrictions that take effect tomorrow, the mega will have around 500 parking spaces for visitors, including places for the disabled,” he told BNS.

According to the Mega representative, due to the relatively large size of the site and its distribution throughout the mall, some areas will be restricted, the multi-story site will be closed, only the mall staff will use it, and prohibition signs will be posted. traffic in front of downtown. Only freight will be able to enter this area.

In addition, part of the entrances to the supermarket will be closed, leaving only the main entrances.

Birutė Kalanovaitė, manager of the Panorama shopping center, did not specify how the flows will be controlled, but said that all requirements and recommendations will be followed.

Ina Augulienė, manager of the Ozas shopping and entertainment center, has previously stated that to regulate the flow of cars, part of the parking lots will be closed and the paid parking system will be programmed to allow no more than 20%. cars.

Rūta Vainienė, director of the Lithuanian Trade Association, told BNS earlier that the restrictions for traders are very strict, but that the requirements will be met.

Both natural and legal persons are prohibited from renting, subletting or lending premises for the provision of accommodation services for the organization of private events, celebrations or other meetings.

So far, education in grades 5-12 has been conducted remotely or in combination with distance on a daily basis, with a full transition to distance education beginning Wednesday, with the exception of special school students. and special classes in general education schools.

Attending preschool and preschool educational institutions is recommended only for those children whose parents do not have the opportunity to work remotely. For beginners, student vacations are announced Monday through January 3.

The quarantine was also extended to 24 hours on December 31 by government decision.
