True, although it was originally announced that it would shine at 5pm, it happened earlier. Apparently, by not revealing the exact time, the goal was to prevent people from gathering.

The Christmas tree in Plaza de la Catedral is a modern and colorful composition measuring 26 m wide and 24 m high.
