Druskininkai will announce the start of the winter holiday season on December 4, Friday; During the broadcast on the Facebook account of the Druskininkai Cultural Center, it will be possible to see the festive performances and the lighting of the crowned fir tree in the Entertainment Plaza. “We invite everyone to stay home and watch the festive event from them. You will be able to admire Druskininkai throughout the festive period, so let’s protect ourselves and our loved ones, let Christmas be cozy, beautiful and safe,” says R Malinauskas, Mayor of Druskininkai Municipality.
Druskininkai is the only city in Lithuania that can guarantee that there will be snow during the Christmas period! If nature does not provide snow, the Snow Arena will take care of the snow.
This year, the complex is particularly focused on innovative solutions: sound and light drones, lasers and special lighting will be used to create a festive atmosphere.
Druskininkai will create Instagram filters especially for these celebrations, and everyone who wants to admire the resort will be able to do so on a virtual tour.
According to Rimantas Palionis, Director of the Druskininkai Business and Tourism Information Center, Lithuanians are actively booking accommodation at the resort for December. “A big advantage of Druskininkai is the space used, so the rest here is safe and people appreciate it,” said R. Palionis.

The magical facilities will meet everyone as soon as you enter Druskininkai: the main street of the complex is decorated, the parks and squares shine, the constellations shine in the main artery of the city to Vilnius alley and on the banks of the lake Druskininkai and three crowned pines, a unique symbol of the spa, created especially for winter celebrations.
Visitors to the Dineika Health Park are greeted by an alley of glittering birds, and three impressive illuminations can be seen in the center of the park: Santa’s own deer.
The musical square next to the MK Čiurlionis School of Artistic Music is decorated with three playing fairies.
