There are people who dream of being self-employed, but never dare to start any kind of business. Or once you fail, you spit and you no longer risk investing. However, there are also people like Karolis who are not afraid to test themselves in various activities and do them at the same time. After earning his first money in England while washing dishes, he returned to Lithuania and soon worked as a guitar teacher in music schools, led excursions in Birštonas and got a job in the tourist information center of this complex.

After hearing a question from a tourist about the possibility of renting a bicycle for the hundredth time, he realized that it is necessary to take and rent these vehicles. Yes for 5,000. After buying 20 bikes, Karolis set up a rental point at her parents’ house, next to the Žvėrinčius forest, whose tracks are the most fun to fly with the wind. And when he got tired of working in a government institution, he also opened the doors of the private sector, began to take care of the events of the newly opened Vytautas Mineral SPA Center.

Do you think it was enough? Definitely not. Carol decided to buy a fast food shopping cart. After mixing various festivals with him, the ideas finally gave up and they began to create new plans. Thus, 13,000 people came from China to the garage of a bicycle rental, guide and event organizer. The only electric car of its kind in Lithuania, designed to transport curious tourists, is worth EUR. The young entrepreneur now has four such exceptional vehicles.

However, all these activities are seasonal, so the interlocutor did not have peace of mind with a single thought: what to do in winter? In April this year, Karolis learned that the 22-year-old plumbing store in Prienai was closing. Why not buy this business, especially if you know a salesperson who has worked for it since it opened? Thus, in the heat of quarantine, Carol plunged into uncharted waters, the world of the pipe and shell trade, and earned a steady income throughout the year.

“I did not want electric cars to be in the garage all winter, so I thought of a new entertainment: Santa Claus will come to the children with a Christmas car. The quarantine forces us to adapt”, smiled Karol, admitting that lately there had been trying to stop, because new ideas kept attacking.

How will everything go? “A decorated electric car arrives at the patio at the agreed time, Christmas music plays. Santa calls the family outside with a microphone or doorbell. Hearing my name, I think the child will be really interested. We all take photos in the electric car, listen to the boy’s poem, give gifts, walk around the area, ”says Karolis.
