On November 19, the Kaunas Regional Court filed a bankruptcy case against the company. According to bankruptcy administrator Jonitus, the bankruptcy order should take effect next week.
Baltic Defense Industries’ debt with Sodra amounts to almost 60 thousand. euros.
BNS recalls that earlier this year it was announced that Baltic Defense Industries had established a new office in Kaunas, and in the future it plans to build a factory in Lithuania that would produce products for defense and law enforcement agencies around the world.
It was later announced that NBC Security in Lithuania had promised to employ about 30 employees in three years. According to Sodra, Baltic Defense Industries had 10 employees in March and does not currently have them.
NBC Security was founded in 2009 by its CEO Naceras Benzekri.
