The actor said that when he returned to Lithuania, his television broke down, so the news is followed with the help of the Internet and radio. Also, I’m glad that having a computer these days doesn’t really stop me from keeping a close eye on what’s going on in the world.

“I don’t know why I bought a pack of cloth masks last year,” admitted the interlocutor with a laugh. “They’re probably not very effective, but I’m still putting myself out.”

The actor revealed that it was this unpredictable disease, which poses a special threat to weaker older people, the main reason for his dismissal from Russian theaters.

“I escaped from Russia because of a coronavirus. There I discovered that there was such a problem, I bought a ticket and flew out of St. Petersburg. I said goodbye to the Baltijskij dom theater, they understood everything. And I also said goodbye to the Mossovet Theater. They also understood everything. Everything. It turned out to be logical. It seems to me that outsiders are no longer needed there. In neither of the two theaters. And in all Russian theaters in general, “said the man who received the Konstantin Stanislavsky award for his contribution to the development of world theater in Russia.

When asked if he still planned to participate in creative activities in the future, perhaps passing on his many years of experience in theater and film to young talents, the man claimed that he had already tried the role of teacher and was given the opportunity to understand that he did not. it was for him.

At the age of 71, Bagdon briefly reviewed his entire career, highlighting essential roles.

“My most brilliant works were related to the work of Eimuntas Nekrošius. These are probably my strongest and most successful creative accomplishments, so to speak. But by then, he had done a lot at the State Youth Theater. Much work has been done that I can now be proud of. I think of Daukantas, Pirosmanis, the paper created by Uncle Vaniai. It was a really beautiful and good job, ”he recalled on a happy note.
