The best scholars of the Lithuanian Constitution were clear

The youngest (grades 5-6) in the group were awarded by: Jokūbas Dacys (Telšiai Atžalynas Progymnasium), Edvilė Zenavičiūtė (Vilnius St. Christopher’s Progymnasium), Faustas Juodzevičius (Vilnius Senvagė Gymnasium).

Rokas Latkauskas (Kaunas Petrašiūnai Progymnasium), Vesta Juodonytė (Vilnius Antanas Vienuolis Progymnasium), Aistė Laimė Skrebytė (Vilnius Maironis Progymnasium) were recognized as the best in the group of students in the 7-8 grade category.

9-10 Grades Winners – Viltė Kybartaitė (Šilalė Simonas Gaudėšius Gymnasium), Aistis Kunigonis (Vytautas Magnus University “Rasa” Gymnasium), Domantas Kasperaitis (Vilnius St. Christopher’s Gymnasium).

Žaneta Dovidaitytė (Joniškis Aušra Gymnasium), Paulina Kočiūnait Gym (Lazdijai District Veisiejai Sigitas Geda Gymnasium), Gabija Januškaitė (Druskininkai Rytas Gymnasium) became the winners in the group of students in grades 11-12.

All of the awardees in the student group are Vilnius University students: Jekaterina Povilaitienė, Justas Dijokas and Rugilė Mameniškytė.

Martynas Raila from Kaunas and Rimantas Grikienis and Virgilijus Pudžiuvelis from Vilnius were the best evaluated in the group of citizens. Event partner DELFI presents an additional award to Citizen Martynas for answering an open question about the media.

The constitutional examination was conducted by students from more than 500 general education schools, 17 higher education institutions (universities and colleges), and 13 vocational schools.

As in previous years, students were the most active participants. Most of them stayed: the Kaunas Maironis University gymnasium, the Vilnius Versmė gymnasium, the Baltupiai Progymnasium and the Vilnius Fabijoniškės gymnasium.

The constitutional examination was mainly carried out at Vilnius University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuanian Police School and General Jonas Zemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy.

The highest activity corresponded to the municipalities of Vilnius and Kaunas, and to the smaller cities: Alytus, Marijampolė and Mažeikiai.

Students and citizens currently living abroad in Germany, Luxembourg and the UK also took the constitutional exam.

Although the organizers did not ask to indicate her age, one of the participants, Ms. Aldon, 79, took the Constitution test for the first time.

The task of the constitutional examination was prepared and the winners were selected by the competent commission: the president of the Constitutional Court Dainius Žalimas, the professor of the University Mykolas Romeris dr. Vytautas Sinkevičius, professor dr. Milda Vainiutė, teacher Jolita Miliuvienė, history teacher at Kaunas Basic Catholic School Juozas Urbšis Virginija Mikutavičiūt method, and history teacher at Kaunas Gediminas School of Sports and Health Edita Mačiulaitienė.

The event was sponsored by the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda.

The winners of the Ministry of Justice awards will be helpful in further expanding the horizons of knowledge. It is about tablets, e-readers, smart watches. This year, the winners also received 2 special awards: the President, for the best in the student category (universities and colleges), and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, Saulius Skvernelis, for the best in the 5-6 grade category.
