“The eldest of the Freedom Faction will be Ieva Pakarklytė, and his deputy will be Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius,” Aušrinė Armonaitė, party chairman, told reporters after the meeting of party members at the Seimas.
So far, according to her, the party has not chosen what it will offer to the vice-presidents of the Seimas, who will lead the two Seimas committees.
“We have named the priorities – it is very important to do the work, we have named where the most important works are, where, which member of the Seimas would like to reveal himself better.” But we have not yet agreed, because we will not have the opportunity to participate in all the committees, “said A. Armonaitė.

The most important work, in his opinion, awaits in the Education and Science, Economy, Human Rights and Health Commissions.
I. Pakarklytė, who was elected to the Seimas for the first time, recently advised the mayor of Vilnius. She stated that the process of adopting legal acts for both herself and other party members who worked in the Vilnius municipality is not new, but there will still be challenges in the Seimas.
“There are probably many challenges: many from the system itself, because it is unfamiliar to many. It will be necessary to learn those things quickly, because only Aušrinė Armonaitė has been here so far,” he told reporters at Seimas.
The Freedom Party faction will have 11 representatives in the Seimas, the largest of the faction rotating each year.
