According to the Statistics Department, 2,062 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the country.
This is the highest number of new cases per day in the country since the start of the pandemic.
As reported on Thursday by the Ministry of Health, since the start of the pandemic, COVID-19 has infected 28,000 people in the country. 262 people, 21 thousand. 339 – still ill, 6608 – recovered.
A total of 235 people died from coronavirus in Lithuania and 80 people died from other causes.
