At the request of the prosecutor of the Vilnius Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the court authorized the search on August 14.

A few days later, Attorney General Evaldas Pašilis formed a group of special prosecutors to lead the investigation. On September 4, L. Savickas was summoned to the Financial Crimes Investigation Service for questioning as a special witness.

According to the LRT, L. Savickas provided investigators with a laptop and phone used for the inspection, and prosecutors explained that it no longer made sense to conduct a search, because the politician voluntarily brought what the officials needed.

In the FNTT investigation, accusations were brought against six people, including representatives of the Profarma company, the then Deputy Minister of Health Lina Jaruševičienė, a member of the Vilnius City Council elected with the Freedom Party, and Redas Laukys, director of Bona Diagnosis .

According to the study, it amounts to 6 million. The company allegedly forged documents and provided the buyer with false information about the manufacturer of the rapid tests for COVID-19.

The acquisitions were made by the National Public Health Laboratory.
