Morgana Danielė, representative of the Freedom Party, and S. Gentvilas, a liberal, spoke about how the coalition negotiations on the future Cabinet of Ministers continue to unfold on the “Lietuvos rytas” program.
According to M. Danielle, the Freedom Party brought 10 names of candidates to the negotiations, who could oversee certain ministries. According to her, the most relevant for the party are the Ministries of Education, Economy and Innovation and Justice.
And who are these candidates?
“With regard to the Ministry of Education, it is not for nothing that A.Žukauskas is mentioned in the press (former rector of Vilnius University Arūnas Žukauskas – 15 minutes), as well as Vytautas Mitalas (Deputy Mayor in charge of education of Vilnius – 15min), one of whom has a lot of experience, the other knows the subject more from a managerial point of view, which is also very important ”, said M. Danielle.

He stated that he did not know the candidate for Minister of Justice, but pointed out that the portfolio of the Minister of Economy and Innovation would be suitable for A. Armonaitė.
“She has said yes, she would consider it, it would be seen in the Government and she has also mentioned the Ministry of Economy and Innovation. I think she would be a strong person there, “said a member of the Freedom Party.
S. Gentvilas also supported this.
“V.Čmilytė-Nielsen and I.Šimonytė are clear (candidate for president of the Seimas and prime minister – 15 minutes). And it’s very clear Sunrise in the economy [ministrus], because as a coalition partner, as a party leader, you must have a priority to go and choose where to go, ”he said, and said that due to the clarity of other ministries, it is not yet.
According to A.Armonaitė herself, there is no decision on what functions she will have in the Government.
