Today, all citizens will be able to test their knowledge of Lithuanian basic law on a special online platform from 9am to 1pm. Anyone who wants to take the exam, safely at home: the test is adapted to both computers and mobile phones.
Contestants will compete in six categories: students – grades 5-6, grades 7-8, grades 9-10, and grades 11-12, students, and other citizens. For each category of participants, closed questions (with several answer options) and an open situation question are prepared. The assignments take 45 minutes, but if they do not respond in time, the participants will be able to complete the test.
The content of the exam has also been updated: the questions are based on practical life situations in which knowledge of the Constitution will have to be applied. The exam task was prepared and the winners will be selected by the competent commission: the president of the Constitutional Court Dainius Žalimas, the professor of the University Mykolas Romeris dr. Vytautas Sinkevičius, professor dr. Milda Vainiutė, the teacher Jolita Miliuvienė, the history teacher at the Kaunas Basic Catholic School Juozas Urbšis Virginija Mikutavičiūt method and the history teacher at the Kaunas Gediminas School of Sports and Health Edita Mačiulaitienė.
The winners of the Ministry of Justice awards will be helpful in further expanding the horizons of knowledge. It is about tablets, e-readers, smart watches. This year, the winners also received 2 special awards: the President, the best in the student category (universities and colleges), and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, Saulius Skvernelis, the best in the 5-6 grade category.
