2. Co-driver: Filipe Palmeiro, with whom he will participate not only in the Dakar but also in the World Trouble Cup.
The only thing unknown was the car. However, during the broadcast, Benediktas Vanagas confirmed it on January 3. It will start with a new car. There are four of those cars. Yazeed Mohamed Al-Rajhi, Bernhard ten Brinke, Jakubas Przygonskis will start with them. In total this model is made up of 14 pieces. By the way, Nasser al Attiyah and Giniel de Villiers will receive an even newer generation of Hilux.
E.Juškauskas will move to Benedict’s “Hilux” from last year. And the previously announced 15-minute information that the Belarusian crew will start with E. Juškauskas’ old car, B. Vanagas clarified: the Belarusian crew of Andrejs Rudnickis and Andrejs Halabarodzka will drive the Hilux, which B. Vanags raced with S. Rozwadowski in 2018.
During the broadcast, Vanagas announced that it would start in Dakar for another two years: in 2021 and 2022.
