“A large number of doctors are already sick, more than a thousand, so the threat of the activities of the health care system being burned is quite threatening,” D. Razmuvienė told LRT radio on Saturday.

According to her, the chimneys registered in medical institutions, registered before, at the end of October or after October 20, are not suppressed, but they continue to expand and new cases are registered.

According to D. Razmuvienė, medical institutions with outbreaks of coronavirus already exist in Lithuania, regardless of their subordination, level or profile.

On the last day, the highest number of cases was confirmed in Lithuania since the first pandemic wave in the spring: 1972 new cases of coronavirus were recorded and 11 people died.

A total of 203 people have died since COVID-19. Another 67 people died from other causes.
