To date, a total of 22,719 cases of infection have been confirmed in Lithuania, according to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC).
Another 11 people died from the coronavirus last day, bringing the total number of deaths from the infection to 203.
According to data from the National Public Health Laboratory on Saturday morning, 16,834 people are currently suffering from an illness caused by a coronavirus infection in Lithuania.
To date, 67 people infected with the coronavirus have died from other causes, according to the National Center for Public Health.
There are 5,615 recuperators and there are currently 41,044 people in isolation.
Starting June 1. 423 import cases were registered in Lithuania.
14,695 samples were analyzed for suspected coronavirus during the previous day. To date, a total of 1,095,001 samples have been tested for suspected coronavirus.
This week, from November 2 to November 8. including residents of Prienai district, Rietavas, Šalčininkai district, Šiauliai city, Šilutė district, Tauragė district, Utena district, Varėna district, Kaunas district, Mažeikiai district, Molėtai district, Palanga and municipalities from the Panevėžys district will undergo more intensive testing for coronavirus 19 (COVID). These 13 municipalities entered the red zone formed according to the traffic light principle.
