Without waiting for expert proposals, the Prime Minister announced that he would propose to the Government to extend and tighten the quarantine in the red municipalities, as well as to introduce a quarantine regime in the yellow ones.

“It just came to our attention then. It looks like we will have to take a break from our normal life in the near future,” the Prime Minister said.
Based on epidemiological indicators, the government has identified three zones into which the municipalities are divided: red, yellow and green. The government is now announcing quarantine in municipalities that have now entered the red zone. Municipalities in the yellow area are subject to individual infection control guidelines.
Local quarantines have already been announced in 21 municipalities. According to the decision of the Minister of Health, the chief of operations, 13 more municipalities have been included in the red zone since Monday.
