People.com writes that S. Connery’s life was turned off in his sleep, the last days of his life were spent in the Bahamas. The cause of death has not been announced, but the wife has hinted that Mr. Connery has recently had dementia in old age.
“Actor Micheline’s wife and their two children, Jason and Stephane, have confirmed that he died in his sleep, surrounded by family members. A farewell to the star is planned after the end of the pandemic,” a Connery spokesperson said.
Confirming the information about his father’s death on the BBC, his 57-year-old son Jason said the actor who played James Bond felt bad for a while.
After leaving the public in 2011, Connery was seen very rarely. One of his last photos published on social networks was during the actor’s 89th birthday.
His son’s wife, Fiona Ufton, posted a photo on social media greeting the six. In it, a film legend, considerably overweight and even difficult to recognize, does not look into the lens, shows a restrained smile and raises his index finger in time.

Scott S. Connery was best recognized for his role as a cult agent, James Bond.
The actor became the first to popularize this role on the main cinema screens and starred in seven films about the life of Agent 007.
During his decades of career, Connery has received many prestigious awards, including an Oscar statuette, two BAFTA Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards.
In 2000, the Scottish actor was knighted.
In August, the actor celebrated his 90th anniversary.
Until the first film about the agent James Bond, S. Connery had serious roles in filmography with only one. It can be said that it was the exploits of Agent 007 that boosted the actor’s career.
Sean Connery
This character was born from the ex-spy Ian Fleming, who, after a long and stormy service, decided to translate his rich experience into an adventurous reading.
When the release of the first “Bondiad” movie “Doctor No” was announced, a debate broke out over who should play the favorite hero. Fleming himself proposed the nomination of Hollywood beauty Cary Grant. But to the authors of the film, this actor seemed too sweet, so it was decided to ask the nation. Many photos of the actors were published in the press and the readers chose S. Connery almost unanimously. Fleming, who later said there is no better than Sean, had to agree with the results of the “referendum.”
Later, Bond was portrayed by S. Connery in “From Russia with Love” (1963), “Goldfinger” (1964), “Lightning” (Thunderball, 1965) and “Live Twice”. (You only live twice, 1967).
For the first Bond, S. Connery received six thousand pounds. For other performances, the salaries of actors have, of course, increased, but they are far from comparable to the royalties of modern stars. The actor, who played this favorite figure five times around the world, tried to dictate his terms, but was replaced by little-known actor George Lazenby, whose film Bond, played in Her Majesty’s Service (1967), is often considered a misunderstood. After this failure, the greedy producers had to accept S. Connery’s demands and begged him to return to the project.
The comeback took place in two stages: the first was Diamonds Are Forever (1971), and the second after a twelve-year hiatus, Never Say Never Again (1983).
The actor was married twice. S. Connery’s first marriage broke up in 1973. His married life to actress Diana Cilento lasted eleven years. After the divorce, the actor maintained a good relationship with his wife and son, Jason, who also became an actor and even played the writer who invented Bond in the television movie The Secret Life of Ian Fleming (1990).
S. Connery married his second wife on May 6, 1975. Micheline Roquebrune is a French artist born in Morocco. I met them both at a golf tournament in Morocco. They both competed and both won, each on their own team. “We didn’t just win the tournament, we beat each other!” Connery said with a smile, adding that it was his biggest win.
