“As always, traffic safety will be guaranteed in the cemetery, but, taking into account the current reality, the officers will additionally supervise and control compliance with other instructions, such as: wear masks, do not gather,” explained O. Vaitkevičienė.
He added that Kaunas residents and city guests could already hear audible warnings about wearing masks, keeping their distance, not gathering. This measure by officials will continue to be actively pursued in various public places.
“Officials hope that the residents themselves are understanding and conscientious, follow all instructions and there will be no serious violations,” a police spokeswoman said.
