Complicated situation in medical institutions
According to the epidemiologist, 1,325 doctors have fallen ill since the start of the pandemic. There are currently 721 doctors with COVID-19. According to her, it is now difficult to distinguish a specific medical institution, in which only new cases of infection would be registered, because all health institutions are already affected.
“In practice, it would be very difficult to distinguish the medical institutions where new cases of disease are registered, because throughout Lithuania, all personal medical care institutions, whether higher or lower, or their profiles, different areas, are registered throughout Lithuania”. – said D. Razmuvienė.
The epidemiologist also reported on the new outbreak in Plungė district.
