Distance education for preschool and primary-age children will be introduced in Kaunas from next Tuesday, the Kaunas city municipality announced on Friday.
“Yesterday, the Kaunas City Municipality submitted an application to the National Center for Public Health with a request to provide recommendations on the education of primary and secondary students. Today we received approval for distance education, so We can apply this additional measure to limit the spread of the infection during quarantine, that is, until November 11, ”the municipality reported this Friday.
According to her, if the quarantine was extended in Kaunas, the procedure for organizing education would be decided accordingly.

The quarantine was introduced in Kaunas on Wednesday. In total, the quarantine regime has been introduced in 21 municipalities in Lithuania.
