The center director Audrius Čiuplys emphasized that the procedure for receiving calls does not change substantially and this will not affect the quality of services.

“Already today, about 42 percent. Calls to the ambulance service were registered through the General Emergency Center,” he said.

According to the schedule approved by the Ministers of Health and Interior in March this year, BPC must take over calls to communication numbers 03, 103 and 033 throughout the territory of Lithuania in separate stages before March 31 of 2021.
