According to the National Center for Public Health on Thursday, two deaths were recorded in Marijampolė counties, one in each of Klaipėda, Panevėžys, Telšiai and Utena counties.
The youngest person who died of coronavirus last day belonged to the 50-60 age group, the oldest from 90 to 99 years old.
All the dead had other chronic diseases.
The coronavirus was confirmed in the dead on October 16, 18, 21, 23, 25 and 28.
Additionally, three other people living with coronavirus died from other causes, bringing the total to 55.
Two new deaths were recorded in Šiauliai and one in Kaunas counties.
Public health professionals urge people to follow all measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection: hand hygiene, coughing, sneezing, wearing personal protective equipment and respecting physical distance.
