The Council must present weekly conclusions on the coronavirus situation in the country both to the outgoing government and the future government formed by the Lithuanian Christian National-Democratic Union and its candidate for Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė, who won the Seimas elections.
“We plan that by the end of next week, the Council of Health Experts could provide the first more concrete ideas, advice or recommendations to the executive,” said S. Skrššta.

“It is very important to have a strong and constructive voice from the experts, decisions will, of course, be made by decision makers, but they should be based on evidence and the best perceptions of experts,” he added.
