The draft amendment to the Declaration of Emergency prepared by the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) explains that a document prepared by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control states that “restricting indoor and outdoor events is a means to reduce the , regardless of the level of morbidity ”.

Exceptions

According to the draft resolution, the exceptions would apply only to the following events and gatherings: funerals, sporting events without spectators, indoor cultural events with a limited number of participants of 200, distances traveled, masks worn, participants only Seating and cultural events can be controlled, recorded and allowed in open spaces where the number of participants is limited to 400 people, distances are observed, masks are used, participants are checked, registered and only seats are allowed.

It is explained that sporting events with the participation of spectators, taking into account the particularities of these events (emotions, etc.), are thought to have a negative impact on the epidemiological situation.

“The temporary organization (2 weeks) of sporting events without spectators is, in our opinion, a proportionate measure, taking into account the epidemiological situation,” the document reads.

The restrictions would also affect mass personal celebrations. They would expire on November 13.

Ask for contact education

At the proposal of the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, it is proposed to foresee the possibility of continuing the education process of children educated in special institutions and special classes of distance general education schools.

“Children with disabilities cannot develop independently, they need constant help from adults, constant presence. Often, the daily routine of these children is limited to education and employment, so giving it up brings great challenges and instability to the lives of these people, and having a clear and consistent routine is extremely important to them.

Family members often lack the knowledge, skills and opportunities to care for a child with a disability because the parents are not social, educational or health professionals. Therefore, distance education for these children is not an adequate tool ”, we explained in a document prepared by the Ministry of the Interior.

In addition, during the Government meeting, it was decided that 10 m2 of commercial premises per visitor should be provided in shops, supermarkets, marketplaces, other public points of sale where indoor activities are carried out, and in other points of sale and services.
