Coronavir tests will intensify this week in 21 municipalities of the Red Zone

The Department of Health (SAM) reports that this week, starting on October 26. until November 1. inclusive, the residents of the districts of Raseiniai, Kelmė, Plungė, Švenčionys, Joniškis, Šiauliai, Skuodas, Pasvalys, Kretinga, Širvintos, Jurbarkas, Vilnius, Klaipėda, Šilalė, Trakai, Telšiai, as well as Marijamiusnius Sejampolė are conducting studies on the coronavirus (COVID-19). SAM explains that Red zone include those municipalities that meet the following criteria:

• The proportion of cases not related to outbreaks or outbreaks is 30 percent or more per week.
• The incidence is more than 150 cases per 100 thousand. the proportion of the population in the past 14 days and non-outbreak-related cases is 30% or more. per week.
• More than 10 cases of coronavirus must be detected per week in a municipality that meets these criteria.

The National Public Health Center (NVSC), after an individual risk assessment of the municipality, may submit a proposal for the allocation of the municipality to the red zone.

For the yellow zone includes municipalities:

• When they have a morbidity of 100,000 in the last 14 days. The population of the municipality is between 25 and 50 and the proportion of positive tests detected in the last week of all the tests carried out in the municipality is greater than or equal to 4%.
• Total morbidity rate at 14 days of 100 thousand. The population of the municipality is between 25 and 150 and the proportion of positive tests detected in the last week of all the tests carried out in the municipality is less than 4%.

Through the green zone include those municipalities in which:
