After calculating the data in 36 of the 43 districts of Vilkaviškis, A. Butkevičius collected 54.5 percent. votes, and his opponent K. Smirnov – about 42 percent.
A. Butkevičius has been chosen for Seimas in Vilkaviškis since 1996, but in 2016 he lost to K. Smirnov for the first time since.
