It is also disclosed that the Rector of the University points out that the non-formal adult education programs implemented by VU during the mentioned period must also be continued remotely, and if this is not possible, they may be temporarily suspended. All other VU administrative activities can continue to provide the necessary safety recommendations, but the Chancellor encourages department heads in a responsible manner.

MRU announced that conferences, seminars and exercises will be held remotely. Teachers must inform students by October 31 about the method of taking midterm and final assessments.

According to Inga Daukšienė, director of the Center for Academic Affairs at MRU, that decision was made to prevent outbreaks of the disease at the university and to ensure the health of students, academic staff and administrative staff.
