In Poland, a record increase in the number of COVID-19 coronavirus infection cases per day was recorded for the third day in a row, as well as the deaths of a further 153 previously infected patients, Polish public radio reported on Friday.

According to the Ministry of Health, 10,788 patients with COVID-19 were treated in hospitals in the country on Friday morning, of which 851 required artificial lung ventilation.
So far, 105,092 people with coronavirus have recovered in the country, 2,888 of them in the last day, the ministry added.
