Mantas himself bought a one-way ticket to Cancun, because he does not know how the situation in Europe and around the world will change due to the pandemic, how he will be able to return home. On the other hand, his friend, who currently arrives in Mexico, found a ticket for 470 euros in both directions with three transfers.
If for some this amount seems large, Mantas says that those who come to Mexico will be received with lower prices in hotels, food and beverages, so costs could stabilize.
“When I was looking for accommodation, I found all kinds of prices. You could find students for 7 or 10 euros each. There are also medium prices. Where I stay fainas hotel, live music, everything is fine – 50 euros a night. If you want to eat, you can do it for 5, 10 euros. If you want more luxurious, more complete, for 20 euros. Prices don’t bite, ”says Mantas.
“Hotel prices have fallen by 20 to 30 percent. What you could spend a little more on tickets at the last minute, I think you will get back through services, both in the accommodation and service sectors. I think the best price indicator is beer, which here costs only 2 euros, “he says.

“Ancient remains of the Mayan and Aztec civilizations, pyramids, waterfalls, depressions. The journey is just beginning, ”says Mantas, who has not traveled in 216 days.
