Muge.eu reported that the Kėdainiai district municipality reported that part of the list of 20 people surveyed on Wednesday had already received responses. Four individuals were found to be infected with COVID-19. All these individuals had contact with the first sick employee of the Municipal Administration. An epidemiological analysis of all new cases is currently underway.
Arūnas Kacevičius, the director of the municipal administration, confirmed that one of the positive tests for coronavirus is his. “I already worked remotely from home yesterday. Currently, people who have been in contact with the sick are isolated, we follow all the instructions of the National Center for Public Health,” said A. Kacevičius.
Deputy Mayor Paulius Aukštikalnis later confirmed the positive results of COVID-19 tests on his Facebook account.
