This information was confirmed by two doctors working at the hospital, reports newsru.com. One of them indicated that the hospital was deprived of medical oxygen due to supply problems.

“There was a (constant) lack of medical oxygen, and on October 12. – was absent for two hours (straight) from all floors of the hospital. Even those who initially had oxygen caught the air like fish thrown into the water, ”said a source from the Ministry of Health.

According to him, five people died in resuscitation, several more, in the general ward of the hospital. According to doctors, the lack of medical oxygen has forced hospital staff to constantly reduce their concentration in the mixture and temporarily disconnect some patients from lung ventilators to help the most seriously ill.

“I hope that those who disseminate this information will be clarified and prosecuted,” he said, noting that if the link between the death of patients and the lack of oxygen is established, the authorities will draw the appropriate conclusions. So far no such information is available, writes RBC.

Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, also drew attention to the situation. He expressed the hope that the Rostov authorities will take the necessary measures.
