Everything “stumbles” in such a way that you want to cry in despair or perform useless activities just to distract your mind from reality.
O. Konošenko-Zariankina – Vilnius prima ballerina, winner of the Lithuanian Art and Culture Prize, “Golden Stage Crosses”, ballet teacher, author of choreographic projects. Ž. Beniuševičius, whose dance can be enjoyed in the performances of Klaipėda residents “Greek Zorba”. E. Dobilaitė was previously a member of the Musical Theater Ballet Company. At the concert “Attention! Ballet ”the three guests will perform as choreographers.
The event dedicated to the International Day of Dance was supposed to delight the audience on April 29, but due to the quarantine, the world dance community celebrated the International Day of Dance on October 29.
Moments here and now
The dance “End – Beginning” created by E. Dobilaitė will tell the story of the lifestyles that haunt us.
“Then one day we realize that we don’t live, we just exist. Everything “stumbles” in such a way that you want to scream in despair or take aimless actions just to divert your mind from reality: watching television series, entering into insignificant relationships or solving pointless problems. We move on the surface, immersed in our thoughts, problems and everyday life, surrounded by increasingly dark fears, caught between the old ending and not finding a new beginning, – says E. Dobilaitė. – And another miniature “Moment for us” – about being here and now, about being able to enjoy every moment of life, the ability to discover light and beautiful things, surround yourself with the positive and allow yourself to smile without fear of looking a little “crazy” . In fact, we alone are responsible for our own moods and states, so I wish you all happiness and as many lovely moments in life as possible. “
Dynamics of feelings
The young dancer Daria Verovka, who shone in the dance performances “Spragtukas” and “Eglė žalčių Karalienė”, makes her debut in this project as the author of two choreographic productions.
“At the first dance, Remember, to the rhythm of the great music of Max Richter, I will try to impress the audience that, even at the end of the relationship, one can remember how bright and deep the feelings accompanied him in the beginning. It’s like telling a story in reverse order: at first we see a hot breakup ending, then passionate love, and finally a moment of meeting the heroes. In the next dance, Human Cell, with the music of Bulat Gafarov, I will tell you that there is a potential difficult to understand in every cell of the human body, and our task is not to stop at our achievements, but to always strive for more, to evolve with our body and our thoughts, ”says D Verovka.

Viktorija Galvanauskienė creates a dance that will unite up to 20 ballet dancers. “I found very beautiful music, but ‘heavy'”. Listening to her, thinking about those feelings that remain hidden in the depths of the heart, we never show them, but we keep them inside. I wanted to express these feelings in motion. Here as in life: we are the ones who fall and quickly get up to move on; here we run and suddenly we hardly walk again or we just stop; here we love, we hate, etc. ”Says the dancer.
The drama of the developer’s path
A. Krasauskaitė will present three dance miniatures created by her.
“The solo Let Me Cry, with the music of Georg Friedrich Händel, speaks of a particle of divinity in each one of us. I wonder what God would say to me if I met him face to face. I wondered if Friedrich Nietzsche was right in saying that God died. Looking at the realities of the modern world, it seems to be confirmed … The quartet “Spring” to the music of Max Richter, in which the famous “Seasons” by the famous Antonio Vivaldi sounds different, it is bright, colorful, playful. It was born from nature, the inspiration of the sea and the sun. The mass dance “Really?” According to the music of M. Richter himself, he is a miniature of us: dancers, artists, people on stage. Lost, burning, frustrated and searching. Drowned in their passions and the shackles of illusion. To be born again and die every day. Separated but incapable one without the other. Putting his profession on the upper pedestal, but at the same time hating it like the biggest cold. Those who run towards the goal, but face the specter of temporality ”, teaches A. Krasauskaitė.
“Man needs man”
The D.Tarasiukas Quartet will be performed by four ballet dancers. “I don’t have great dedication. I would call this miniature “Comprehension” or “Alter ego”. I think about life events and how people understood and appreciated them. Briefly and clearly ”, says D. Tarasiukas.
Borodina and Semenenko will reveal an old truth in their Need to Be Near miniature: man needs man. “In today’s world, we are so focused on our problems that the days turn just as gray. “We do not notice anything around us and that ‘no one’ could become an aid, a support team or even a lifesaver in the sea of solitude,” said O. Borodina.

The head choreographer of the Musical Theater Aurelijus Liškauskas affirms that initiatives such as “Attention! Thanks to the Ballet, world-class choreographers are discovered. Similar projects in other theaters have revealed many talented creators: for example, Martynas Rimeikis, who created the production of “Eglė Serpentine Queen” or Robertas Bondaras, who is currently creating the choreography for “Faust” in Klaipėda. They both created their first performances as dancers.
“Attention! Ballet” will reflect the life goals, the different characters and the intentions of the young people. To make dance more than self-realization of ambitions, the creation of choreographic miniatures tried to choose who did it best. It is as a mini-selection for creative dancers, and the evaluators of course will be the viewers. After all, creativity always starts with self-confidence and the first try … Our dancers are very talented, just give them a chance! to show what they know and are capable of doing!
