According to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC), coronavirus outbreaks in establishments are currently low. Even so, you can count quite a few in companies where another employee is sick, in some cases infections are counted by the dozen.

15 minutes According to the information provided by the NVSC, a list of companies with the highest number of cases was drawn up from mid-September to mid-October. The information provided reflects data for the last Friday and Saturday.

Most illnesses occur on Kelmė dairy

According to the NVSC, the majority of coronavirus cases in the business in the last month were related to Kelmės pieninė, where 40 related cases were recorded from September to mid-October.

“Usually, as I count, our company employees plus family members. We only count our company employees, so those numbers are completely different. Most importantly, to my knowledge, there is no additional infection in a week. We have handled the situation “, hopes G. Bertašius.

In a week that I know of, there is no additional infection. We have managed the situation, hopes G.Bertašius.

Although epidemiologists associate 40 infections with Kelmės Pienine, G.Bertašius reports that 25 of the company’s employees are infected, while 50 out of 200 people working at the company have a certificate of self-isolation or incapacity for work.

G.Bertašius said that Kelmės pieninė managed to relocate the work and distribute it to the remaining healthy employees in such a way that not only did it not have to stop production, but even managed to maintain the necessary production volumes. As a result, the coronavirus outbreak at one of the companies did not disrupt the group’s exports.

“And the people who worked the hardest worked, and we reorganized the production itself to achieve the required production volumes, even from the administration, the employees had to work on the conveyors for one more hour at a certain time. We also reorganized the production in yes and this allowed us not to stop her, ”said G.Bertašius.

The most important thing is to talk to the employees.

The companies belonging to the Vilvi Group had prepared risk management programs in advance, but when one of the companies got involved, the coronavirus had to adjust the planned actions.

The group’s leaders have taken all possible measures to prevent the virus from spreading from Kelmės pieninė to other companies. For example, drivers transporting products between companies must be especially careful: they are not expected to get out of cars, documents are delivered electronically, etc.

G.Bertašius, the head of the Vilvi Group, which is included in the list of coronavirus hot spots in companies, advises other companies to follow all the recommendations of public health specialists: disinfect the premises, wear masks for employees , if possible, to separate the workshops. However, the most important advice from the manager is to communicate clearly and extensively with employees.

“When this happens, it is more difficult to talk with the employees themselves, because there are really different reactions: there are those who do not understand what the risk may be or they overestimate the possibility of infection. It is not contagious for the coronavirus in sight. It is very important to communicate , because there are many scares right away ”, said the manager.

Radviliškis sewing shop even had to close

On October 2, when a new fireplace was installed in Radviliškis, the Danijus sewing company, which employs 25 people, registered three cases of illness, the Radviliškis district municipality announced that the company had been closed and the focus was being investigated by epidemiologists.
