Ignė says that when she experiences physiological stress, any emotional stress becomes fearless and her daughters don’t get sick at all.

“When we started to practice this method, more people started letting their children sink into the water. Do not prohibit being barefoot. And, of course, it had an effect on health, ”said Mother Ignė.

While some can easily walk over a kilometer or soak in the cold river water, others find it challenging to soak their feet as well. Although the water temperature in Vilnelė is 12 degrees, Ignė promises to swim in the river all year round with like-minded people and children, if they wish.
