SAM explains when residents with pets can leave the isolation area for a short time

It is stated that pet owners who have been in contact with a person with coronavirus (COVID-19) and who cannot transfer pet care to others can go outside for up to 15 minutes if they show no signs of a acute viral respiratory infection.

After taking the pet outside, the person must wear face protection at all times: masks, respirators, etc. and avoid any contact with other people. It is forbidden to visit meeting places: events, shops, restaurants, etc.

If the person is contacted by officials who verify compliance with the isolation conditions, the person must return to the isolation site immediately.

The Ministry of Health asks to raise awareness among the population and reminds that people who raise animals can only go outside for a short time if the person does not show signs of a viral respiratory infection.
