The capital’s progymnasium problems began when LRT Radio published chefs’ testimonies that uneaten food was heated and served to other students, and plates were made from leftovers from yesterday’s dishes.

The State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS) inspected the Bruneros food-producing institution and found a series of violations, for which the director of the educational institution decided to terminate the contract.

How, judging by the information provided by R. Remeika to the parents of the students, then things began to change: the companies that agreed to temporarily transport the food already prepared for the children began to go to the SFVS, so in the end it became difficult to find who would decide to do it.

After the inspection, no more food was provided.

On Monday, R. Remeika contacted her parents and announced that she had encountered obstacles.

In the Center section of the educational institution, according to him, after Brunera’s refusal, the students were fed imported food. However, a complaint was received immediately, so SFVS inspected the supplier; after inspection, the supplier stopped supplying food.

R.Remeika did not hide that after this incident negotiations were held with six potential suppliers, but all refused to supply food because they realized that they could not comply with the requirements of the SFVS, and that only a great effort managed to persuade a provider.

In the Blindiai section of the Progymnasium, some of the children ate the Brunera food and some of the packages ordered by their parents.

However, the SFVS also claimed an alternative breadwinner in the Blind Department, whose services were used by various classes of children: it is not possible to provide food without a contract with the school. Power issues were also found in the fog section.

We see that every new supplier found receives SFVS inspections.

“It may seem like a very simple task to find an alternate breadwinner, but we see that every new provider found receives inspections from SFVS, leading to their disruption and reluctance to continue working with the school,” the principal wrote to parents. , describing the situation as a crisis.

15 minutes After contacting R. Remeika, he made no secret that there were problems, but, according to him, all are resolved and the contract with Bruneros has already been terminated.

They promised to get out of the kitchen next week.

“They promised to get out of the kitchen next week,” he stressed.

According to the director, the three branches of the progymnasium are currently fed with imported food by three suppliers, whom he did not name.

Next week, he said, the progymnasium will conduct a survey and find a temporary supporter who will prepare meals for the students until the end of the hiring, which will also be announced next week.

According to him, the beginning of the process to terminate the contract with Bruneros made it very difficult to obtain food, since the food transport companies were inspected by the SFVS, and the license of one of them was even suspended.

“Others refused, not wanting to fall into the limelight of the veterinary service,” he said.

Remeika said she was surprised by the peculiarities of the SFVS work: “When Bruneros checked and we asked to give some conclusions so that we could act in one way or another – we wrote because nobody contacted us by phone. 20 business days. When our parents, Members of the Seimas intervened, gave that answer in one day. But when we found someone to transport the food temporarily, the head of the Vilnius branch called me on Friday night and said: “We checked this establishment and suspended its license , so you will have problems “(…) You can say that I was interested that no one else comes to feed me, it is the only way I can evaluate the vines of the veterinary service.

15 minutes The SFVS asked you to comment on this, and when we receive a response, we will complete the article.

Bruneros approached SFVS

Rima Vinčaitė, Managing Director of Brunera, in a comment 15 minutes made it clear that the company would not be responsible for the terminated contract.

According to her, the contract between Brunera and Vilnius Prince Gediminas Progymnasium was terminated by the agreement of both parties, the parties have no claims to each other.

When asked to comment on speeches that Brunera representatives might complain to the SFVS about companies temporarily feeding children, R. Vinčaitė stated that the Brunera representatives addressed the SFVS with a request to be equally objective and principled. with respect to all providers. Bruneros continues to be the main supplier of food for the progymnasium, responsible for the quality of the food provided in the educational institution.
