Verslo žinios previously announced that the platform’s clients in Poland had received messages indicating that the company would not be closed, but that there would be a disruption in operations. CityBee in Poland in 2018 had started offering a van rental service in August.

Sending Delphi Giedrius Audickas, Head of CityBee, says in his comment that he is expected to return to this market in the future.

Providing CityBee services in Poland was a pilot attempt by the company to operate in a large market. It allowed him to test his decisions and his potential to gain valuable experience. Working in Poland We have learned lessons that we would not have received only in the Baltic countries. We have accumulated a wealth of knowledge necessary for the future development and growth of CityBee.

We made the decision to suspend CityBee’s operations in Poland after assessing the objective circumstances this year and the situation around the world. Although we are taking a break in Poland, we are certainly not giving up on our ambitions to return to that market or enter new ones. Perhaps on an even larger scale.

“Changes are not expected in other markets where CityBee operates,” he said.
