The situation in hospitals is closely monitored
Mr. Veryga responded if he intended to restrict the intended treatment services.
“We see a really very active issue again. For some residents, this may raise some fears, as they have already wondered if services will be available before decisions are made. I want to assure the population that the disruption of services will be without doubt a last resort and that others will be introduced first, which may restrict some activities. But no one will really start with health care services, especially the planned ones, “said A. Veryga.
According to the minister, the situation in hospitals is being closely monitored.
“Today we have 39 percent. The so-called COVID-19 spare beds occupied. Up to 70 percent. There are still tolokas. From what I have been able to see, I also follow the messages of the speeches of the polyclinics, who rightly fear that planned services are more difficult to access when the population stops.
I understand that managers are prepared, managing flows correctly, there is no need to stop scheduled services for the moment, we are also interested in bringing them to the population. Those indicators that were adopted long before, without knowing much about COVID-19, will certainly be reviewed to ensure that scheduled services are maintained and uninterrupted for as long as possible, ”said the head of SAM.

If that situation continues, it will take time for people to pay attention to something so important, the situation may worsen significantly, and stricter restrictions may be necessary, ”said D.
