“It has always been the choice not to keep his personal life private. I never wanted to sell my children to photography magazines. In my opinion, this would have distorted his perception of the world. There were suggestions, of course, but my wife doesn’t like publicity. She avoids that and I fully respect her choice, ”the artist told the show, and the audience will see the detailed story on Monday night.

Together with his wife Inga, who raises two children, his son Andrius and his daughter Victoria, he is a producer, musician and actor, and today director Andrius Mamontov says that he has never encouraged his offspring to follow in his footsteps and choose a musical path.

“My son Andrius has just graduated from the music institute in Berlin. There he has his own band, giving concerts. I never tried to “scratch” my children on that musical path. My son has deliberately chosen it himself and is doing well.

And my daughter Viktorija works in organizing work, works with cultural events, organizes street music days for the fourth consecutive year and works as an assistant to the director Dalia Ibelhauptaitė at the Vilnius Opera House. She is very talented, she likes order, she knows how to organize herself, agree and speak ”, said A. Mamontovas.

The last concert of the group “Foje” in 1997 became a record. About 60 thousand fans of the group gathered in Vilnius Vingis Park, the record for the concert with the largest number of spectators in Lithuania was reached. After the separation, the members of the group developed individually.

A.Mamontov claims that the appearance of the new music channel 2TV encourages the creation of video clips in the future. “My last video was late this summer for the song” Malibu “, which I edited myself and which I am very happy about. Your 2TV channel dictates the idea that it may be worth starting to create video clips again”, – the musician A.Mamontov will not hide his smile.

Already this Monday night, at 10 pm, the 2TV program “Made in Lithuania” begins its marathon of new programs, in which the host of the program Marija Silickaja will speak with Lithuanian artists and present her musical path to everyone and will reveal unpublished details of life.
