Later, the list was expanded: employees of cultural institutions, some state companies, institutions, public authorities, institutions subordinate to ministries, statutory officials, electoral commissions of the Seimas and election observers, and groups of people appointed by the directors of municipal administrations They can now be tested for COVID-19 on a voluntary basis.

In almost all cases, the directors of the municipal administrations have the task of organizing the investigation and the health professionals with the task.

Rapid tests must be retrieved from the NSPL and data on the obtained test results must be entered into the Information System for Cooperation Infrastructure and Electronic Health Services.

“Out of half a million rapid tests, 93,749 units are currently being distributed. Rapid tests are issued according to the decisions of the operations manager to municipalities, personal health institutions, universities ”, informed the laboratory representative S. Kalvelytė.
