The 74-year-old president is on steroids and doctors are optimistic about his health and prospects.

“Since we last provided information, the president’s health has continued to improve. As with any illness, both improvements and worsening can occur during treatment,” said Trump’s physician, Sean Conley.

The president was taken to Walter Reed Army Hospital near Washington on Friday for “rapid disease progression” when oxygen levels fell to alarming levels, the conley said.

Before Trump was taken to the hospital, he was given extra oxygen at the White House.

Trump’s other doctor, Brian Garibaldi, said the president was “active” and feeling fine.

“Our plan today is to make sure the president eats and drinks fluids and spends as much time out of bed as possible, stays mobile,” Garibaldi said.

“If he continues to look and feel as good as he does today, we hope we can schedule an appointment at the White House tomorrow where he can continue his treatment,” the doctor added.

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said on Saturday that Trump’s health had caused “great concern” to doctors, but that the president’s well-being had improved and he had never risked handing over power.

On Saturday night, Conley warned that Trump’s health problems were “not over,” but the medical team was “cautiously optimistic.”

Late Saturday night, the president posted a video on Twitter in which he appeared relaxed in an unbuttoned collared shirt and blue jacket, saying he would “be back,” but acknowledging that the next decisive days would be a “test. real”.
