With the publication of an article about Simon’s disease, a multitude of people appeared on the Internet, acquaintances of the woman who did not forgive her beautiful words. According to them, Simona has always been very smiling, cheerful and always determined to help those around her.

However, Simona Rasiukevičienė’s life came to an end when she was only 33 years old. In addition to her mother, her little daughter Dominyka remained. The news of the loss of the woman was confirmed by relatives of Simona and representatives of the Kęstutis Battalion.

Speaking to Simona herself a week ago, the woman assured her that she would like the money raised by the benefactors to stay with her daughter after she leaves.

We remember the story of Simona described just a week ago:

“Cancer affects us all, no matter who you are: daughter, mother, sister, friend, coworker, doctor or patient,” Jennifer Aniston said. When the news portal tv3.lt contacted Simona last week, she had difficulty gathering words and couldn’t control her tears. The woman was fighting for her life from the last stand, and until very recently she was an active and unsuspecting volunteer.

I was active in sports

Simona Rasiukevičienė, who raised Dominika, a 4.5-year-old daughter, said that although she was lying down in the Tauragė hospice home at the time, she was still an official volunteer for the Kęstutis Battalion.

The woman, who had been active for a long time, never complained about her health, she was extremely active and strong in physical shape, so she wanted to volunteer for the war.

“I was really very active, I felt strong and physically ready to go out and serve. I also visited the ward, moved weights, rode a bicycle, went on walks in various regional parks, really many kilometers, ”recalls the woman who was lying in the hospice.

Iron was missing

A good six months ago, Simona had felt a weakness that manifested itself in a lack of strength on certain days. However, the woman herself associated this with lower blood pressure, which was common.

The woman who raised her daughter also ate vegan and vegetarian principles for a time, so she decided to test her blood as well.

“When I went to the GP, I had my blood checked and I was a little lacking in iron. After 3-4 months, everything seemed to improve and the doctor did not notice anything else. I felt healthy again, although those weaknesses sometimes appeared ”, he openly told his story.

Before going out to serve, Simona felt a stomach ache. For a long time, the woman ate quite differently, trying to choose the products that best suited her body.

Colleagues thought I was waiting

It was so coincidental that a woman started suffering from stomachaches just as she began to introduce dairy into her diet, so she thought it was stomach aches that caused them.

“I thought it was still hurting them, but after a couple of weeks I had severe colic. I visited relatives in Šilutė and called an ambulance.

I did research, said intestinal inflammation, prescribed drugs to improve digestion. He said he would watch me. I went home with those digestive enzymes for the weekend and went to serve on Monday, ”the single mother who raised her daughter then recalled the events of August.

Simona managed to stay in the Kęstutis battalion for only one week. The woman began to be bothered by the pain, and her tummy blew out so hard that roommates began to think that the woman was waiting.

Stomach cancer detected

Simona herself then recalled that the abdominal pain had become unbearable on the seventh day, so she visited the medical center in the morning with questions about why she was in so much pain:

“From there I fell to the Tauragė Hospital and everything has already moved there. The first operation, then I went to Klaipeda, where I was treated. Once again, the operation is a huge abdomen, cut, with a stoma taken out on one side.

Cancer has spread throughout my body, the last stage. It is a pity that my cancer is still not being treated because secondary operations were necessary to save my life because my intestine was missing and everything inside was spilling ”.

Cancer Simons started in the stomach, but has now spread to other organs: the intestines, the ovaries, etc. The woman’s body has been particularly weak lately, so it first needed to be strengthened to treat cancer and apply chemotherapy.

Doctors could not believe the lightning bolt of the disease.

Simona received chemotherapy only once, after which, as she herself said, she found herself on the operating table.

“So far, many wounds in the intestine and stomach have been treated. They are both inside and outside, and the cancer has not yet been treated,” she said. It took Simon a long time to get stronger last week. The woman felt weak , fatigue, nausea:

“I feel a lot of different side effects. I feel completely bad, I vomit, I am fed through a vein because the body has rejected both water and food. It’s very difficult for me to get stronger so I can go to chemotherapy. “

The woman later said she was officially diagnosed with cancer just a month ago, in August. Even the doctors themselves had a hard time believing that Simona felt as perfect as possible all this time before her body developed aggressive cancer:

“It just came to our knowledge then. It says, maybe you’re a boxer or you’re beaten, all like porridge inside. Nobody understands how I could feel so good, look at myself, play sports, build muscles, be active and get stronger with this disease. “.

Simona’s little daughter was left without her mother. Simona herself said before leaving that she would like all the benefactors’ money to stay with her daughter after her death. You can help a family in distress as follows: SWEDEN SIMONA RASIUKEVIČIENĖ LT887300010088019861.
