At the border checkpoint, Finnish officials will request documents proving the purpose of the trip.

Internal border control for a month, starting on September 19. until October 18, updated with Lithuania, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Portugal, France, Slovenia, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Hungary, Malta, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia and Estonia.

The Ministry of Health (SAM) reports that this is how Finland has responded to the increased incidence of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in these European countries.

With the increase in average morbidity in Lithuania, SAM encourages travelers to foreign countries to inquire about restrictions, entry conditions and isolation of the destination country.

The Ministry recalls that this week the German Ministry of Health included the Šiauliai region in the list of places affected by coronavirus, so those arriving from this region are subject to the isolation requirement. Other regions of Lithuania are not included in the list of risk areas in Germany, and isolation and other virus management measures will not be applied on arrival.
