Currently, 2,474 people still have coronavirus infection and 2,494 have recovered.
A total of 94 people have died since COVID-19 and 19 people have died from other causes.
There are 27,332 people in isolation.
As of June 1, 281 import cases had been identified in Lithuania.
7643 samples were analyzed for suspected coronavirus during the previous day. So far, a total of 796,027 samples have been analyzed.
Of the 125 new coronavirus cases, 52 were recorded in Šiauliai and 39 in Kaunas counties, the NVSC reported on Saturday.
In addition, 24 cases were confirmed in Vilnius and six in Panevėžys counties. Two more diseases were recorded in Telšiai and one in each of Klaipėda and Tauragė counties.
After contact with patients, according to epidemiologists, 97 people were infected, of which 74 are associated with foci.
Seven new cases are related to the Siauliai Republican Hospital. Of these, one person is a patient, one is an employee, and five secondary cases are family members of employees. A total of 63 cases were recorded in this approach: 22 patients, 21 staff, and 20 secondary cases.
Six cases are associated with an outbreak in one of the Šiauliai University courses in ŠU. A total of 13 diseases were recorded here. According to the NVSC, this outbreak is associated with COVID-19 cases in Raseiniai.
Eight cases are related to Radviliškis Hospital, four of which are employees and four secondary cases. A total of 163 cases are associated with the outbreak: 65 patients, 67 staff, and 31 secondary cases.
There are also more cases related to the “Danijus” sewing house in Radviliškis. Three new cases were registered in the last day. A total of eight patients are estimated to be associated with the approach: five staff members and three secondary cases.
Six more new cases have been identified in the Kelmės pieninė outbreak. Four workers and two family members were infected with the coronavirus. A total of 27 cases related to this outbreak were registered: 20 workers and seven secondary cases.
In Kaunas, on the last day, four cases related to the outbreak were recorded at the Kaunas State Musical Theater. All cases are secondary, two of these people work at the Kaunas State Philharmonic. A total of 47 outbreak-related cases are estimated to have been reported.
Six other cases are related to the outbreak at the Kaunas County Police Chief’s Commissariat, of which five are employees and one is a family member. Currently a total of 17 related cases are registered.
Four new cases are related to the outbreak in Raseiniai district municipality (50 patients in total), two – in Raseiniai hospital, people are employed (26 diseases in total). Another case of infection in Raseiniai was detected in an employee of the Raseiniai Viktoras Petkus Basic School. A total of five diseases were recorded here.
A new case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the Blinstrubiškės welfare home located in the Raseiniai district. A person is an employee. A total of 56 cases were registered: 12 workers, 40 residents and four secondary cases.
In addition, two new outbreaks were recorded in Raseiniai. The first: in Raseiniai “Saulutė” kindergarten, infection was confirmed for two employees. A total of three people are sick. The second: at the Raseiniai primary health care center, the illness was confirmed to an employee. A total of three cases of infection were recorded.
NVSC also reports that, together with the Raseiniai District Municipality, it has requested large industrial companies operating in the region to have their employees screened for COVID-19.
In Vilnius, three cases of coronavirus infection are related to the hockey competition held on September 19 in Elektrėnai (a total of 18 cases). The NVSC encourages individuals who have participated in or observed the competition to contact public health professionals to assess their individual risks.
Five new cases in the capital are related to the dance studio “Dance Harmony”. A total of 12 diseases were registered. The NVSC recommended a temporary suspension of this study on September 30, but this has yet to be done, based on information currently available.
Another case in Vilnius County is related to fencing training. Six infected people are estimated to be involved in the outbreak.
In Panevėžys, the coronavirus was confirmed for three students from the Juozas Miltinis Gymnasium. A total of 11 COVID-19 cases have already been linked to the outbreak. In this school, education for students in isolation is organized at a distance.
Two new diseases were detected in Telšiai county in Mažeikiai district municipality. Currently a total of 19 related cases are registered.
So far, epidemiologists have been unable to determine how 25 people have been infected.
In addition, on the last day there were three import cases from Poland, Ukraine and Russia.
