And according to her, the Girioniai kindergarten educator took the rapid test organized by the municipality on September 16, but it was negative. The last time the educator was working was on September 17. She felt bad last weekend so she went to a mobile research point. On September 21, she no longer appeared at work, so she had no contact with colleagues or students since the onset of symptoms. COVID-19 was diagnosed on September 22.

“An isolated group of students – a total of 10 of them and two sick colleagues. The situation is quite grateful, because it is a group from an open-air kindergarten that spends almost all their time in the open space. isolation until September 30 ”, assured M. Labašauskaitė.

The infected Girioniai kindergarten teacher has a mild form of COVID-19 and has not been hospitalized. NVSC is still clarifying the circumstances of the infection; it is not known where this worker was exposed to the virus.
