EBV Finance, a Lithuanian registered tax refund services company that has joined the Edenred global corporation, is developing and establishing an operations center in Lithuania.

At the beginning of the year, the global Edenred Corporation acquired a majority stake in EBV Finance and transferred the management of other Edenred subsidiaries operating in other countries with similar activities to the Lithuanian company, according to a press release.

Following the completion of the transaction, it was decided to transfer the hub operations of the subsidiaries managed by EBV Finance to Lithuania.

“We are expanding the network of representative offices in Europe by concentrating the operations of the operations center in Lithuania. This year alone, 40 new jobs will be created in the Vilnius office. Development is expected to continue in 2021 as well, ”says Loreta Grekauskienė, Executive Director of EBV Finance.

EBV Finance, which has been operating for seven years, provides fast and standard VAT and excise refunds to European transport companies. EBV Finance returns VAT from 31 European countries and a part of the excise duty on diesel fuel from 7 EU countries to transport companies that have purchased fuel abroad and incurred other costs.

According to a press release, by acquiring shares in EBV Finance, Edenred has strengthened its market position and expanded its range of value-added services to international carriers in Europe.
