On Monday, LRT Radio announced that the Vilnius Duke Gediminas Progymnasium chefs had written a complaint to the State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS).
According to the radio, the cooks indicated that they were told to make food for the children with waste, that the children did not eat. According to the complaint, if the gym students do not eat something, it is picked up from the plates, warmed up and introduced to others.

“We have fixed it and now there is no shortage of that food. “We wrote, we met, I threatened that if those things happened, we would initiate the termination of the contract,” he said.
According to R. Remeika, he only learned on Monday that the SFVS inspection had been carried out and that there may be violations.
“I wrote a letter to the SFVS asking for information. And if there really are violations, we and the founder will initiate the termination of the contract,” he said.
According to the director of the school, after confirming that the dishes for the children were made with waste, he would instruct the breadwinner to stop providing services.

According to the school director, the contract was signed at the end of August, for one year, with the possibility of an extension of up to three years. Before that, the children of the progymnasium were fed by another company.
The SFVS intends to provide more information on the case on Monday.
