The decision was made at a meeting of the emergency commission in the municipality on Friday.

“As of September 21. On the territory of the district municipality of Raseiniai, all sporting, cultural, leisure, entertainment and other events organized both in open and closed spaces are prohibited, including practical inspections organized in the example of exercises, ”the municipality announced on Friday.

This insurance, established by order of the Director of Administration, is valid for all municipal institutions and companies and other natural and legal persons.

As of Monday, visits to cultural, leisure, entertainment, sports and physical service facilities for visitors are also prohibited. Activities in day and employment centers for children, people with disabilities and the elderly will no longer be allowed.

The director of general and non-formal education institutions is reminded to monitor the epidemiological situation and make decisions about the application of the training form, and companies providing the services are advised to work remotely, if possible.

In addition, starting Monday in the Raseiniai district municipality, its budget institutions and companies, the population will be served only remotely.

According to the municipality, the number of COVID-19 cases is 100,000. the population in the Raseiniai district reaches 134.5. At that time, this indicator was 20.1 cases in Lithuania.

According to the National Public Health Center (NVSC) on Friday, there are currently 43 people with coronavirus in the Raseiniai district. 27 cases are related to the outbreak at the Raseiniai Police Station.

A total of 3,565 cases of COVID-19 disease have been confirmed in Lithuania, 1,283 people are still ill and 2,181 have recovered.

87 people died from the disease and another 14 people died from other causes.

There are currently 8,096 people in isolation.
