That a teacher got coronavirus 15 minutes confirmed by Saulius Andriuška, director of Marijampolė Marian Gymnasium.
“Yes, the teacher called me last night and informed me that I had a positive test result,” he said.
According to the principal, the teacher was working last week on Monday and Wednesday, and this Monday she had a fever and did not go to work.
“Now there are six isolated classes where he had lessons on Wednesday and two teachers who had coffee together,” Andriuška said.
For sixth grade students, classes will be held remotely until September 22.
“Currently, the school has representatives of the disinfection company, we are coordinating disinfection,” said the director.
The Mayor of Marijampolė, Povilas Isoda, announced on Facebook that this teacher also worked at Petras Arminas Progymnasium.
“NVSC works and manages the situation, gathers contacts,” writes the mayor.
