However, witnesses who saw the incident on social media questioned the light signals, wondering if they were really enough to prevent an accident.

The investigation was terminated
Did the police patrols really do everything possible not to endanger other road users? This problem is not limited to the affected family.
This matter was also investigated by Klaipėda District Prosecutor Darius Alekna, who led the preliminary investigation. The prosecutor decided to terminate the pre-trial investigation. You can appeal to a higher prosecutor.
Traffic rules say that it is forbidden to stop and stand on the road.

However, when asked what the essence of this pre-trial investigation was, the lawyer replied that he had clarified who and what traffic rules had been violated.
“And if those violations were the cause of the traffic accident,” said the prosecutor.
Alekna doesn’t seem to see the slightest reason for the actions of the police patrols in the road accident. Whoever hit the rear of the other machine is to blame.

Saulius Tamošaitis, the lawyer for the injured Klaipėda residents, responded to the prosecutor.
